Kaitlyn Fitzgerald currently lives and works out of Boston / Maine and graduated from Boston College in 2016 with a B.A. in Studio Art and a minor in Mathematics. Kaitlyn is currently in her second year of graduate school pursuing an M.A. in Film + Photography Preservation and Collections Management. She has worked in a variety of institutions such as Gallery Kayafas, MIT List Visual Arts Center, The Art Gallery of Ontario, and Old York Historical Society, and is currently completing her thesis residency at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Kaitlyn has a strong interest in the late nineteenth and early twentieth-century photographic processes, early amateur and snapshot photography, and photographic albums.
Kaitlyn has also exhibited in group shows such as the Magenta Foundation's Flash Forward Festival in 2016, STARE Exhibition at Boston City Hall in 2017, and a pop-up show put together by the Boston artist collective Recently in 2018.
