Archive and Photographic Preservation Assistant May 2021—Present
Independently created a comprehensive finding aid and rehousing plan for 30 photographic albums ranging in dates from the 1860s to the 1930s.
Conducted a thorough survey of over 20 boxes of loose photographs, utilizing current photographic preservation methods to create detailed preservation and housing plan.
Completed a full inventory of oversize storage of over 360 individual and mostly uncataloged maps, charts, scrapbooks, newspapers, posters, and broadsides
Developed cataloging skills using the data management system Past Perfect to find, create and update records within the archive collection making it more accessible for Old York staff and researchers.

Resident Graduate Intern / Thesis Project January 2022—August 2022
Transcribed oral histories of the Howard Greenburg Collection of Photographs, a collection comprised of 447 photographs by 191 artists and spanning three decades, to create comprehensive object provenance for a future dedicated collection website.
Used MFA’s database The Museum System (TMS) to create object loans and acquisition records, and update preexisting records for future exhibitions within the Photography Department.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology List Visual Arts Center (MIT LVAC), Cambridge, MA
Archive Project Coordinator August 2018—August 2020; January 2022—Present
Managed the LVAC’s first-ever exhibition history archive project by processing and rehousing over 2,100 archival exhibition history folders dating from 1985 through 2010,
Worked directly with MIT library staff to transfer the archive for proper storage and greater accessibility at MIT’s Distinctive Collections in addition to joining the LVAC archive to MIT’s ArchivesSpace repository and MIT’s Dome digital collections database
The project was granted the IMLS Museums for America 2020 Award to digitize archive materials for a newly redesigned List Visual Arts Center website.

Collection Information and Research Assistant in Dept. of Curatorial Affairs (Photography) June 2021 — August 2021
Used digital asset management systems Portfolio and eMuseum to directly inspect and transcribe inscriptions and marks on the rectos and versos of over 2,000 individual photographs by photographer Dr. Harold Edgerton that were being accessioned by the Art Gallery of Ontario.
Produced several research reports on photographs for acquisition into the AGO’s photography department collection.
